Abstract

This investigation examined opaque porcelain application using one layer, two layer and one layer with bonding agent in order to compare bond strength of nickel-chromium alloy with porcelain.
Total 24 test samples were constructed. All test samples were measure with micro meter graduated to 0.01mm. It is as follows measured of thickness 3.1mm (metal : 1.1mm, porcelain : 2.0mm), width 12 mm, length 30mm(porcelain 12×12mm), compared
maximum
bending stess of each case through the result of bending stress test.
@ES The results obtained in this study were summerized as follows:
@EN 1. There were significant differences in the bond strenth of the three case for one layer, two layer and one layer opaque application with bonding with bonding agent. (p<0.01).
2. The data indicated that the one layer opaque application with bonding agent was more available than the one layer and two layer opaque application and the two layer opaque application was more available than the one layer opaque application.
